On February 28, in the capital of the Republic, in the assembly hall of the Central Executive Committee of the Donetsk Republic public movement, the results of work for February 2019 were summed up. The event was attended by the DPR Chairman of the People’s Council, Vladimir Bidyovka, the head of the Donetsk Republic faction, Valery Skorokhodov, and deputies of the People’s Council.

On February 27, the press centre of the Donetsk News Agency hosted a briefing by Chairman of the DPR People’s Council Vladimir Bidyovka regarding the creation of the Youth Parliament in the DPR.

On February 26, in the capital of the Republic, a working meeting of the Chairman of the DPR People’s Council, Vladimir Bidyovka, with colleagues from the Kostroma region of the Russian Federation was held. The delegation included deputy of the Kostroma City Duma Dmitry Kudrya, doctor of law, professor, Vladislav Gruzdev, member of the central board of the All-Russian organization "Russian Union of Afghanistan Veterans", Vladimir Vnukov.

Gruesome news marred this day: a civilian car was blown up near the “Yelenovka” border crossing station, two people were killed, another one was injured and medics are fighting for his life.

On February 21, a solemn event dedicated to Trade Union Workers’ Day and the fourth anniversary of the Donetsk People’s Republic’s trade unions took place in the House of Trade Unions in Donetsk. The event was attended by the Head of the DPR Denis Pushilin, Chairman of the People’s Council Vladimir Bidyovka, People’s Council’s deputies, representatives of ministries, departments and trade union organizations of the DPR and Russian Federation.

On February 20, the opening ceremony of the Year of the Russian Language in the Donetsk People's Republic was held in the capital's Donbass Opera. The event was attended by the Head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, the Chairman of the DPR People’s Council, Vladimir Bidyovka, deputies of the People’s Council, heads of ministries and departments, residents of the Republic, as well as guests from the Russian Federation.

On February 20, a special event dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Director of the Institute of Urgent and Regenerative Surgery named after V.K. Gusak, Head of the Donetsk Burn Centre, Professor Emil Fistal took place in the Centre of Slavic Culture in Donetsk.

The creation of the Civic Chamber of the Donetsk People's Republic, the main purpose of which will be to represent the interests of our citizens, is a natural consequence of the fact that the Republic is entering a new level of state-building.

On February 19, a rally timed to the Day of Liberation of the Debaltsevo City was held. The event was attended by Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Denis Pushilin, Chairman of the DPR People’s Council Vladimir Bidyovka, Chairman of the LPR People’s Council Denis Miroshnichenko, and deputies of the DPR People’s Council.

On February 18, the Chairman of the DPR’s People’s Council Vladimir Bidyovka participates in a meeting called “The flame of memory will not fade” and dedicated to the fourth anniversary of the end of the Debaltsevo-Chernukhino operation in the framework of an official visit to the Lugansk People’s Republic.
