On September 9, in the Donetsk State Academic Music and Drama Theatre a solemn event dedicated to the Financier Day of the DPR has been hosted. It is reported by the correspondent of the Donetsk People's Republic's official site.

On September 7, the meeting of the contact group on the conflict settlement in Donbass was held in Minsk. The agenda included issues compliance with “silence mode”, exchange of prisoners and coordination of an instrument of parties' disengaging.

On September 5, 2016, the Chairman of the DPR People’s Council Denis Pushilin participated in “Meeting place” programme on Russian NTV channel.

The Chairman of the DPR People's Council, permanent plenipotentiary representative of the DPR in the contact group on resolving the situation in Donbass Denis Pushilin commented on the implementation of the Minsk agreements, spoke about the prospects of situation development and impact of the ceasefire.

On September 5, 2016, the round table took place in the conference hall of Russian News Agency TASS, dedicated to the results of Minsk agreements’ implementation in two years from the moment of signing the first documentation package and the prognosis for the next period.

Exactly two years ago, on September 5, 2014, in the capital of Belarus at a meeting of the contact group on conflict resolution in Donbass a protocol on the immediate ceasefire (18:00 of the same day) was signed and  a peace plan of 12 paragraphs was adopted.

The Chairman of the DPR People’s Council Denis Pushilin took part in the programme on TV channel “Oplot”. During the programme, the topic of Minsk agreements was brought up.

On September 1, the Chairman of the DPR People's Council Denis Pushilin attended a solemn all school assembly dedicated to the Knowledge Day in Makeevka secondary school №53. The event was also attended by Acting Head of Makeevka city administration Valery Lyakhovets.
