The Security Service of Ukraine refuted information that the special services had prevented the assassination of the Ukraine’s president. This is a rare case of the information, which became available to the public, being deemed not to be credible. Earlier, a few days ago, Poroshenko was publicly caught in rigging of a photo in his tweet, but the Ukrainian president did not hasten to apologize.

The Verkhovna Rada has adopted medical reform, which means that the constitutionally guaranteed free medicine will disappear in 2020. The services in hospitals will be divided into three categories: fully free, partially paid by the state (so-called co-payment) and paid.

According to the ex-Minister of Defence Anatoly Hrytsenko, the Head of the Security Service of Ukraine Vasily Hrytsak reported crime committed by the President of Ukraine. Hrytsak pointed out the absence of specially constituted army headquarters for military operations, as well as the inability of the Security Service to direct troops in eastern Ukraine.

According to the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavel Klimkin, the Hungarian Foreign Ministry notified Ukrainian colleagues about the October 13 rally under the slogan "Self-determination for Transcarpathia". Klimkin asked the question: "Is it that Budapest supporting separatism?" Naturally, a note of protest followed.
