The Chairman of the DPR People’s Council Vladimir Bidyovka expressed his position on the imposition of martial law in Ukraine, shared the interim results of work under the exchange of experience with colleagues from the Russian Federation, and also described how the work of the deputies of the II Convocation would affect legislative processes.

On December 20, the results of a social programme “Children of the Republic” were summed up in Donetsk. The event was attended by the Chairman of the People’s Council Vladimir Bidyovka, Deputy Chairman of the People’s Council Olga Makeyeva, as well as the People’s Council’s deputies.

On December 19, a charity event dedicated to St. Nicolas Day was organized in Starobeshevo for children entitled to benefits. The event took place on the initiative of the “Donetsk Republic” public movement and supported by the Chairman of the DPR People’s Council Vladimir Bidyovka and administration of the Starobeshevo district.

The development of the economy, the fight against corruption and other priorities assigned by the Head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, to the leadership of the Republic, will be supported legislatively within the framework of the activities of the parliament of the new convocation.  Chairman of the DPR People’s Council Vladimir Bidyovka talked about this in the Meeting Place programme on the Oplot TV channel.

The Kiev authorities use religion as a means of incitement of ethnic hatred. The Chairman of the DPR People’s Council Vladimir Bidyovka shared this opinion with the Donetsk News Agency on December 15.

On December 14, a rally was held near the Chernobyl Glory Memorial in Donetsk to commemorate the Day honouring liquidators of the Chernobyl NPP accident aftermath. The event was attended by the Chairman of the People’s Council Vladimir Bidyovka and deputy of the People’s Council Natalia Volkova.

On December 13, an annual inter-university student festival “Freshman’s Debut – 2018” took place in the Donetsk State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre named after A. Solovyanenko.
