On April 19, in Moscow, on the basis of the Korston hotel club, on the initiative of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, the Cultural Space of Peoples of Russia and Donbass Conference was held.

On April 18, Minsk hosted a regular meeting of the Contact Group on the peaceful settlement of the conflict in the Donbass. The agenda included issues of armistice violations, the implementation of the agreement on the disengagement of forces and facilities, the restoration of Vodafone's signal in the territory of the Republic, and the preparation of the exchange of prisoners.

The state policy of Ukraine in the religious field is directed towards the division of Orthodox believers and violates international religious law. On April 14, a concert with the participation of the Russian singer Mark Tishman, “Gradusy” and “Blestyashchiye” musical groups supported by the Russian Centre took place in the Central Scherbakov Park of Culture and Leisure in Donetsk. In the Ukrainian capital on Friday, April 13, an ordinary event took place: in the centre of the city, a building of the real estate developer "Kyivmiskbud" was fired on from a grenade launcher. 

At the last meeting in Minsk on the eve of the Easter holidays, an unstable situation on the contact line was discussed. We have submitted facts of violations of agreements on the part of the Ukrainian side and data on shelling of the territory of the Republic, confirmed by the reports of the OSCE SMM.

On April 7, on the square in front of the Holy Vladimir Church of the city of Donetsk, the opening of a monument to the Holy Equal-to-the-Apostles Prince Vladimir was held. The ceremonial event was attended by Chairman of the People's Council Denis Pushilin, deputies of the People's Council, acting head of the City Council of Donetsk Alexey Kulemzin, rector of the Holy Vladimir Church of the UOC-MP Archpriest Georgy Goncharenko.

On April 7, in Donetsk, a solemn rally dedicated to the fourth anniversary of the proclamation of the Donetsk People's Republic took place on Lenina Square. The event was attended by Chairman of the DPR People's Council Denis Pushilin, as well as deputies of the People's Council.
