The initiative of the DPR Head, Denis Pushilin, to create a youth parliament is relevant, and the People’s Council will take all measures to implement it. Parliament Speaker Vladimir Bidyovka talked about it in a comment to the press service of the People's Council.

As of today, the situation at the checkpoints is quite acute in the Donetsk People’s Republic, and therefore deputies of the People’s Council decided to assist in the implementation of the initiative of DPR Head Denis Pushilin to stabilize the process of citizens' crossing the checkpoints.

On January 25, a solemn ceremony of awarding the winners of the annual Republican contest "Man of the Year" took place in the capital's Centre of Slavic Culture. The event was attended by DPR Head Denis Pushilin, Chairman of the People’s Council Vladimir Bidyovka, deputies of the People’s Council, representatives of ministries, departments, city and district administrations, and public figures.

On January 24, a regular meeting of the “Donetsk Republic” faction took place, where the main directions of the deputies’ work were announced.

On January 22, a requiem rally was held in the Leninsky district of the city of Donetsk, dedicated to the fourth anniversary of the tragedy in the Bosse microdistrict. DPR Head Denis Pushilin, Chairman of the People’s Council Vladimir Bidyovka, the deputies of the People’s Council, the heads of ministries and departments, the city dwellers took part in the memorial service that took place at the site of the tragedy.

The Head of the DPR Denis Pushilin and Chairman of the DPR People’s Council Vladimir Bidyovka together with colleagues from the LPR participated in a live radio broadcast of “Crimea” radio station, the subject of which was summing up the results of the official delegation’s visit of the DPR and LPR to Simferopol, as well as discussion on plans of future inter-parliamentary cooperation.

On January 18, following the results of a working meeting of the official DPR delegation with Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea Vladimir Konstantinov, an Agreement on Cooperation between the State Council of the Republic of Crimea – the Parliament of the Republic of Crimea and the People’s Council of the Donetsk People's Republic – the Parliament of the Donetsk People's Republic was signed.

On January 18, the DPR’s delegation took part in a solemn rally, which was dedicated to the 365th anniversary of the Pereyaslav Council and was held in Simferopol (Republic of Crimea, Russian Federation).

On January 4, a New Year theatrical performance for children was held in the Centre for Culture named after Franko, which is located in the Kirovsky district in Donetsk. The event was attended by the Chairman of the DPR People’s Republic Vladimir Bidyovka.

On December 29, at the initiative of the Donetsk Republic public movement, within the framework of the Bright Childhood and Heroes projects, with the support of DPR People’s Council Chairman Vladimir Bidyovka, a visit to the Donetsk cinema named after T. G. Shevchenko was organized for children of military personnel and children living in the frontline areas of the Republic.
