In autumn of 2014, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted a law on the special status of the Donbass, with the amendment that it will operate for three years. It should be noted that the text of the bill was not agreed with the representatives of the Donbass Republics, nor did it comply with the requirements of the Minsk agreements. As we all know, this law even formally did not come into force and was completely frozen by Kiev.

Yesterday, Ukraine and the United States refused to discuss Russia's proposed resolution on the introduction of the UN contingent to the Donbass; today, the Ukrainian president is pleased with the approval of the US Senate to allocate $500 million to Ukraine for defense. Can anything more eloquently speak about the intentions of the Ukrainian party?

The refusal of Ukraine and the United States to work on the text of the resolution on the UN mission in the Donbass proposed by Russia reveals the true motives of the Western partners. Such actions eloquently speak about what Pyotr Poroshenko and his American friends really want.
