Ukraine is a law-governed state? The law is one for all, the law is above all, the rule of law... Where are the Ukrainian populists now, who so pathetically made all these speeches? Where are the European parliamentarians, who so vehemently defend Western values?

On April 12, in Minsk, a regular meeting of the Contact group on the peaceful settlement of the conflict in Donbass was held. The agenda included issues related to compliance with the ceasefire regime, as well as Ukraine's full transport blockade realization.

Ukrainian decommunization literally reached space. The Vice-Minister of the neighbouring country, Vyacheslav Kirilenko, offered Petro Poroshenko to postpone the Cosmonautics Day from April 12 to the next day. According to the Ukrainian official, the date of the holiday should coincide not with the first human space flight, but with the first ascent to orbit of the Ukrainian astronaut.

Serious concerns among the community are caused by the condition of the mines on the part of the Donbass territory controlled by Kiev. The coal mining industry of Ukraine has long been underfunded, which has had a detrimental effect on the mines condition, both abandoned and in the process of liquidation.

This is evidenced by the data of an international study conducted and published by the agency Ernst & Young. Earlier, the European Court of Auditors presented the 'independent' laurels of the most corrupt country.

One of the Mariupol TV channels was fined for showing the NTV broadcast, in which an alternative official point of view on the Ukraine and Donbass history was expressed. A breakaway from the generally accepted interpretation of history developed by the institutions of the 'post-Maidan' Ukraine, of course, could not go unpunished in a 'free' country.

The residents of the neighbouring state's capital suddenly grew bolder and decided to formally express distrust to their mayor Vitaly Klichko. And since it is known that any mass actions in Ukraine take place only when someone orders them, it becomes obvious that the struggle for the capital's political Olympus has begun and is entering a new stage.

On April 8, in the Donetsk sports club "Spartak" competitions in mixed martial arts "Fight Master Cup IV" were held. 20 sportsmen from the DPR, the LPR and the Russian Federation took part in the competition. The sports event was visited by the Chairman of the DPR People's Council Denis Pushilin.

Litter picking was held on April 8, at the Donetsk Komsomol Park of Culture and Recreation within the framework of a two-month landscaping programme. The event, organized on the initiative of the public movement "Donetsk Republic", was attended by about 100 people – deputies of the parliamentary faction "Donetsk Republic" and the activists of this public movement.

On April 7, in the session hall of the Government House, in which the Declaration on the Sovereignty of the Donetsk People's Republic was adopted three years ago, and the State Independence Act was signed, the Chairman of the People's Council Denis Pushilin congratulated the inhabitants of the Republic on the anniversary of the DPR proclamation.
