The government of Hungary has adopted a memorandum on the protection of Transcarpathian Hungarians, which, as a matter of fact, allows interfering in the internal affairs of Ukraine in case of danger to their compatriots.

The serious aggravation of the situation on the demarcation line, especially in Gorlovka, planned by the Kiev authorities, may be due to the recent change in the scenario of military aggression against the Donbass. Now it is important for Kiev to justify the change of the 'ATO' format and show what the Ukrainian army is capable of.

The modern war is waged not only at the front with the help of weapons. The main battle in the Donbass is for the minds and hearts of people. And while the DPR consistently pursues a humanitarian programme for residents of the Donbass territories temporarily controlled by Ukraine, 

Today in Kiev the SBU (the Security Service of Ukraine) broke into the offices of the TV channel Russia Today and the news agency RIA Novosti Ukraine. In addition, the head of RIA Novosti Ukraine Kirill Vyshinsky was detained. Apparently, Ukraine has decided that since the World Press Freedom Day has passed, it is quite possible to start full-scale persecutions against the press and journalists.

Some Ukrainian writer and political figure Vasily Shklyar made a statement on TV channel Espreso.TV that Ukraine did not need Crimea. He also emphasized that there were far more “conscientious” Ukrainians in the US than in Crimea, which was overcrowded with “natural” Russians.

On the eve of May 9, Ukrainian media reported police drills, the demolition of monuments to the heroes of the Great Patriotic War, and also announced the organization of the column of the "immortal" division of the SS.

The losses that Ukraine incurs due to the actions of the current Kiev authorities, in some respects, are comparable to the damage inflicted during its occupation by the German fascists. 

The Kiev authorities have not decided yet what scenario they will be using to “reintegrate” Donbass. For instance, the Ukrainian Deputy Minister for Temporarily Occupied Territories and Internally Displaced Persons Yuri Grymchak enumerated three possible scenarios of “United Forces Operation”.

With the help of the so-called 'Joint Forces Operation,' Kiev intends to isolate the Donbass. The creation of 'restricted' or 'restricted access' areas for civilians is an attempt to conceal the illegal use of weapons against civilians and a number of other crimes of the Kiev punitive forces in the Donbass.

I am not sure that a situation on the line of contact will change dramatically only because not a so-called anti-terrorist operation, but a military operation of united forces that will be launched on the part of Ukraine and will target the citizens of the Republics.
