Denis Pushilin comments on recognition of documents issued on People’s Republics’ territory by the authorities of the Russian Federation

On February 18, the DPR People’s Council Chairman Denis Pushilin commented on the recognition by the Russian Federation of documents issued on the territory of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics.

“This is the long-awaited event for the citizens of the Donetsk People’s Republic. The DPR Documents Recognition by the Russian Federation will greatly facilitate the lives of our citizens, relieve painful issues of movement and residence on the territory of Russia, will enable our children to enter Russian universities on the official grounds.

Given the blockade imposed against Donbass by the Ukrainian government, the issue of document security has been one of the priorities in the search for solutions. Today, such a decision exists.
