Deputy Vladislav Rusanov comments on run of election race in Ukraine

The declared candidates for the presidency in Ukraine are mainly radical Russophobes who are indifferent to the fate of the inhabitants of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics. This was reported to the Federal News Agency by the deputy of the People’s Council, the deputy chairman of the Writers’ Union of the DPR, Vladislav Rusanov.

“I would like to believe that the elections in Ukraine will allow resolving the armed conflict through a productive dialogue using the formulas that have been repeatedly voiced at the meetings of the Contact Group in Minsk, but this belief is utopian.

For the Donbass, elections in Ukraine, by and large, are an internal political event of another state. There should be drastic changes in Kiev politicians’ brainwork, but I think it’s not worth expecting this at the moment,” the parliamentarian stated.
