The murder of the Head of the Donetsk People's Republic Alexander Zakharchenko can be considered political, aimed at disrupting the Minsk agreements, deputy of the DPR People's Council Valery Skorokhodov told RIA Novosti.

The assassination of the DPR Head, Alexander Zakharchenko, is a provocation aimed unequivocally at the disruption of the Minsk agreements. This was announced today by the Chairman of the DPR People's Council, the Permanent Plenipotentiary Representative of the Donetsk People's Republic at the talks of the Contact Group in Minsk, Denis Pushilin, on the air of the "Reaction" programme on the Russian NTV channel.

On September 2, in the Donetsk State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre named after A.B. Solovyanenko, the farewell ceremony with the Head of the DPR Alexander Zakharchenko took place.
