Mariana Naumova holds master class on powerlifting in Donetsk

On January 20, 2017, in Donetsk Sports Center “Sportmax” a Russian world record holder on powerlifting Mariana Naumova held a master class on bench press. The event was attended by the DPR People’s Council Chairman Denis Pushilin.

During the master class Mariana Naumova told those present about how she spends her training, and then everyone could try to do the basic exercises and consult with the record holder.

“I’m very glad that you are here today. Today I’m having a really hard training. I hope that today you shall learn something for yourselves,” Mariana Naumova appealed to the participants.

In turn, the DPR People’s Council Chairman Denis Pushilin in communicating with journalists emphasized the importance of youth’s sports development.

“The master class demonstrated by Mariana Naumova is quite useful for the younger generation. If you want to be engaged and have the desire, then any records are possible. She is a very frequent visitor here, it’s great and it cheers up. This gives our youth certain goals that are achievable,” Denis Pushilin said.
