Following a meeting of the Contact group in Minsk, the permanent plenipotentiary representatives of DPR and LPR in the negotiations Denis Pushilin and Vladislav Deynego said that Ukraine had violated the International Convention for the Suppression of Terrorist Bombings.

On March 15, a regular meeting of the Contact group on the peaceful settlement of the conflict in Donbass was held in Minsk. The meeting had on its agenda issues related to a failed separation of forces near Stanitsa Luganskaya, the situation in the area of the Donetsk filtration plant and the exchange of prisoners.

Consumer rights protection activity is necessary in building of any state. The DPR’s Law “On consumer protection”, which was adopted by the People’s Council on June 5, 2015, stipulates the regulation of relations between consumers and producers and the rights of consumers to acquire goods of good quality, safe for life and health.

The decree “On contact line” will streamline the process of movement outside crossing points and thus protect citizens of the DPR from illegal entry into the territory of the state. This was reported by the Chairman of DPR People’s Council Denis Pushilin during an interview with business portal DNR LIVE.

On Sunday, March 12, parliamentary elections were held in the Republic of Abkhazia. The delegation of the DPR People’s Council, which included our deputies Elena Melnick, Vladimir Bidyovka and Ekaterina Martyanova, attended the event as international observers.

This humanitarian assistance programme aims at the reunification of the people of Donbass, the provision of social and humanitarian rights, the provision of medical and educational assistance, the provision of administrative and legal services, the preservation of spiritual and cultural values.

On Friday, March 10, during the regular plenary meeting, the Chairman of DPR People’s Council Denis Pushilin commented on the main directions of parliament’s legislative activities.

The situation in the area of the Donetsk filtration plant continues to be complicated. The station was de-energized on Sunday, March 5, as a result of shelling by the AFU, the work on electricity restoration will begin on March 7.
