The DPR People's Council Chairman, permanent plenipotentiary representative of the DPR in the Contact group at the negotiations in Minsk Denis Pushilin participated in the programme "Informally" on the TV channel "Oplot TV."

Within six months, representatives of Kiev at the Minsk negotiations have been sabotaging dialogue on economic issues, presenting flimsy claims concerning the members of the economic subgroup from the Donetsk People's Republic.

Yesterday in Minsk a really significant event happened – the subgroup on economic issues after a long break resumed its work. After ten failed by fault of the Ukrainian side meetings, Kiev suddenly lifted all claims against the DPR representative, and the subgroup as if nothing had happened could start work.

On February 15, in Minsk the regular meeting of Contact group was held. The agenda included issues related to the exchange of prisoners, the deterioration of the situation on the contact line and the implementation of political paragraphs of the Package of measures.

The recent escalation of conflict in Donbass cannot be explained with nothing other than Poroshenko's attempts to get out from the Minsk process in any way. The President of Ukraine is at war to stay in power as he rapidly loses support in the West and should draw attention to himself no matter what.
